Vendor Listing TERMS & CONDITIONS

This is the advertising Terms and Conditions (T&C) of Wedding Function Travel (WFT) for the listing of your goods and services. Please take note that this is WFT’s T&C. Take note that your business’s T&C will not apply to WFT and if your business doesn’t comply with our T&C your listing will unfortunately be canceled.

Vendors

We only work with vendors that are associated with the Wedding Function and Travel industry. WFT will not promote or list any businesses that are not part of this industry.

Duration of Premium Subscription 

We have one-, two- and three-year PREMIUM subscription agreement options that work on a prepaid basis. To build brand awareness we recommend that you list your business for a minimum of 12 months. During the last two months before the end of your listing, you will receive emails from us requesting the renewal of your agreement.

Premium Subscription fees and payment 

WFT will only list your business after we have received proof of payment. This will also be our confirmation that you agree to our T’s & C’s. There is no advertise now and pay later option. Reduced price subscription only applies to Special offers and promotional deals according to our agreement options. If you advertise with us for a year and you then sign up for another year you will pay the normal price according to the agreement option. The exception to this rule will be promotion deals from WFT.

Listing information and images

When you do a listing with WFT you warrant that you own or are authorized to use all the information and images that you sent to us. You are also responsible for making sure that the information is reliable and accurate and that the images that you provide are of good quality for website use. WFT is not responsible for any wrong information that was given to us. After a listing has been made you will be informed by email to check that all the information on the website is correct. If we do not receive any responses from you within 72 hours, we will accept that the information on the website is correct. Vendors may update information with new content or images once a month.  

WFT will do updates of your contact details within 72 hours (about 3 days) that may change for whatever reason, this excludes weekends and public holidays. When you list your business with us WFT will send you a Google Form to complete and to upload your Logo; 1 Main image (landscape) and a maximum of 10 other images.   

Your company profile page may have a maximum of 200 words to describe your business. Images that we need are:  

1 x Business logo (will be inserted in a rectangular block)  

1 x Main image (must be landscape)  

10 x images that will sell your business with information of the images. This information will also be used in the Google search engines.  

All images must be relevant to your business i.e. If your business is a guest house, then send us images that will sell the guest house. Images of the different rooms or if you have a sea view perhaps an image that was taken from the guesthouse balcony. Do not send us an image that was taken in town or from nearby tourist attractions. Our main goal is to promote your business. Do not send us photos of people's faces except if you have their consent. Especially photographers need to make sure that they have the necessary authorization from their customers to make sure they apply with the POPIA Act. The onus will be on you to prove your consent if they dispute this.

Premium Vendor Reference Number

Each Premium vendor will receive a unique Vendor Reference Number. This PVR No. will be linked to your business name.

Free listing for Premium subscribers. 

If you recommend us to other vendors and on the day that they sign up for the Premium subscription and they make use of your Premium Vendor Reference Number both of you will receive one extra month of free listing on the completion of successful signup. This is not redeemable in cash, nor can it be used for a short payment on your agreement. (Successful signup is when a vendor's Premium information is available on the WFT website, and all payments have been made.) Free listing promotional options will also be included in agreements from time to time and this is not redeemable in cash, nor can it be used for a short payment on your agreement.

Cancellation of the Premium Subscription 

At the beginning of the subscription, there is a cooling-off period of 7 days. During this period, you can give written notice of your subscription cancellation. This is in terms of section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002 which states:   "(1) A consumer is entitled to cancel without reason and without penalty any transaction and any related credit agreement for the supply-  

(a) of goods within seven days after the date of the receipt of the goods; or  

(b) of services within seven days after the date of the conclusion of the agreement.  

(2) The only charge that may be levied on the consumer is the direct cost of returning the goods.  

(3) If payment for the goods or services has been affected prior to a consumer exercising a right referred to in subsection (1), the consumer is entitled to a full refund of such payment, which refunds must be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation."  

Cancellation of the Premium subscription must be in writing and the cancellation will only be effective at the beginning of the second month following. The last day of the subscription will be at the end of the following month i.e. (if the written cancellation is during April, then it will be effective from 1 June.) The consumer will be entitled to a 50% refund for the outstanding months of the subscription. 

If you have referred other vendors to us and received a free Premium listing, you will forfeit the free Premium listing if you cancel your agreement. Free Premium listing is not refundable, and it cannot be transferred to another vendor or be used for later listing on the WFT website.

FREE Listing Option 

Free listing is obtained in two different ways, through WFT's discovery of businesses and businesses applying for free listing through the completion of a Google form on the WFT website.

Cancellation of the FREE listing option 

Cancellation of the FREE listing option must be in writing and the Vendor's information will be removed from the WFT website within 72 hours (about 3 days).
